On July 1, 2023, the new national standard "Special Paper For Wood-Based Panels Decoration" issued by the China State Administration for Market Regulation and the China National Standardization Administration was officially implemented. China's New National Standard for "Special Paper for Wood-Based Panels Decoration" Has Come into Effect
On July 1, 2023, the new national standard "Special Paper For Wood-Based Panels Decoration" issued by the China State Administration for Market Regulation and the China National Standardization Administration was officially implemented. The standard GB/T 28995-2022 replaces the national standard GB/T 28995-2012 for "Special Paper for Wood-Based Panels Decoration" put into implementation in 2013.
The drafting, publication and implementation of GB/T 28995-2022 is an important step in "leading the modernization and high-quality development of wood products industry with scientific and first-class standards" as stated in China's "13th Five-Year Plan".

The companies that participated in the drafting of China’s national standard GB/T 28995-2022 "Special Paper for Wood-Based Panels Decoration" are professional decorative paper manufacturers.
